The quickest way to get an original design is by simply changing an existing model and picking your own color scheme. Simple changes such as removing or adding modules. Rotating, moving or scaling them will give you a completely new concept!
You can change pre-prepared spaceships by modifying the modular examples located in each spaceship set scene. Select your modular example then start moving, rotating, scaling, deleting and duplicating parts and you can quickly come up with a new example without having to start it from scratch.

You can also open up the modular example prefab itself and directly make your changes to it in prefab mode.
If you want to preserve the design of the original modular examples, make sure to duplicate the original modular example prefab before making any changes.

This will immediately apply changes to the modular example. Make sure to make backup of the original if you want to preserve it.
